Product Positioning of TE, LTM, LTC, PF500 and PC
Distinguish thermal gas, liquid, flow measurement and pressure control products by media, measured object and closed-loop control.
TE, LTM, LTC, PF500, and PC are distinct members of the HNR product family. Understanding their boundaries builds a quick selection map. Think of them in three groups: flow measurement/control (TE/LTM), low-differential-pressure control (LTC), and pressure control (PF500/PC).
The TE series excels at thermal differential flow measurement, suited to high-accuracy metering and stable control across a wide range of gases and flows. The LTM series targets compact installation and fast response — comparable accuracy with an emphasis on footprint and integration.
LTC focuses on flow control under low differential pressure. When supply pressure is limited or downstream backpressure is high, differential-pressure control depends on available differential head; LTC optimizes the flow path to keep usable accuracy at low ΔP.
PF500 and PC are pressure-control products: PF500 serves general processes needing a wide pressure range and stable output; PC emphasizes pressure regulation in more compact or media-specific scenarios, with differing range, sealing, and cleanliness grades.
For selection, break the need into "flow or pressure, is differential pressure sufficient, footprint and cleanliness," then map to the datasheets. Product-family boundaries converge with application; in crossover cases, confirm with an engineer to assemble the duty-matched combination.
